This graceful tree lives in the informal garden.

I’ve depicted 6 blooms from Chris’s photos, in different stages, from bud at the left to full bloom at the right, with the fading flower hiding in the background behind the full bloom.

I completed it just before King Charles III ascended the throne. When Chelsea flower show included a celebration garden for his coronation, one of these trees was included because it’s one of his personal favourites.
