Bromley House Library Collection (framed originals)

This collection of watercolours was made in the spring of 2020, to celebrate the garden at Bromley House Library on Angel Row in the centre of Nottingham.  I’m grateful to photographer Chris Orme, whose prolific collection helped me with composition.

Back in the day, the market square was ringed with impressive Georgian houses, each with their own extensive back garden.  Most of these have now been built over, and the library has the last garden in Old Market Square. It’s believed to be the only Georgian townhouse garden in England with its original layout.

15% of the purchase price goes to support the development of the garden.

The framed originals are all double mounted, in a plain pale wood frame.  Contact me if you’d like to purchase the set, or match the framing for one of the unframed paintings.
