Urban Sketching
Slow down, look closer and capture the city as it happens.
Urban sketching is a relaxed, sociable way to record the places around us — from busy cafés and historic buildings to quiet corners, changing light and everyday life. We sketch on location, working from direct observation and enjoying the process as much as the finished page.
You do not need to be an experienced artist to come along. Whether you are picking up a pencil for the first time, returning to drawing, or already keep a sketchbook, you are welcome to join us.
Using high-quality paints and acid-free rag paper, each piece is created to last for decades without fading. Kate has exhibited locally at venues including Bromley House Library, St Barnabas Cathedral, and the Nottingham Liberal Synagogue, with upcoming work at the Onion Garden in Westminster.
